Visiting Postdoc: Marian Lazar
International mobility has been a key element in the process of my academic formation as a researcher with a Ph.D. in Physics, and a reach postdoctoral experience. Since the time of my postgraduate studies, I was involved in many European projects working within prestigious networks of research from France and Germany, and with outcomes already recognized and published in international journals. Moreover, I was invited to continue my postdoctoral research in Germany awarding a Humboldt Fellowship, and then in Canada with a grant from NSERC. Recently, I decided to come back and initiate new projects and partnerships in Europe, using my experience and sharing it with the young researchers from Romania, now as a new entity of the EU. I am convinced of the importance of my international mobility, it is vital not only for developing my academic carrier, but for a scientific excellence and competitiveness relying on interaction between us as researchers at an international outstanding level.
